Hello Nightmares!

Welcome to this weeks post from yours truly.

So there are many, many exciting things happening everywhere all at once and I don't know where to even start! This has to be the best news I am going to give you yet! And I say yet because I have no idea what else this AWESOME 2018 has in store for me.

ComicCon Africa


It is with the greatest pride that I get to tell you guys that I was accepted into ComicCon Africa.

To quote the ComicCon Website:

"Reed Exhibitions Africa and ReedPOP, the world’s largest producer of pop culture events, in partnership with VS Gaming, South Africa’s largest independent gaming brand and the leading platform for online gaming in Africa, will be bringing Comic Con to the African Continent from 14 – 16 September 2018.Comic Con Africa is a 3 day event showcasing comic books and science fiction/fantasy related film, television, and similar popular arts. The exhibition will also feature a larger range of pop culture and entertainment elements across virtually all genres, including animation, toys, gadgets, clothing, collectible card games, table top games, anime, manga, video games, webcomics, and fantasy novels.Superhero or sidekick – there will be exciting activations to enjoy that include professional gaming tournaments, other gaming activations, Cosplay Competitions, and new Movie and Series promotions. Comic Con Africa visitors can also enjoy celebrity panel discussions, seminars, workshops and autograph sessions.Exhibitors, Flame On! Comic Con Africa will feature a large floor space for exhibitors, as well as the Artists' Alley, where comic artists can sign autographs and sell or do free sketches."

This is an amazing opportunity for any artist and I am so happy that my application was accepted. I feel like this is what I have been working towards the last 10 months. Having said this I do want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me thus far and come out to the various fayres and had fun with us! We LOVE doing book events and think that ComicCon is going to be our Biggest Event yet!

I hope you all have your tickets because they are selling out FAST! You are not going to be happy if you miss the first African ComicCon. There will be celebrities there including members of the cast of The Big Bang Theory and Game of Thrones!

I am also super proud to have read an amazing book called Blood Sipper and how super exciting that I got quoted on the front cover!!!

This book is releasing in April and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Don't Forget About Discworld.


On April 28th, Alter Ego events is hosting Discworld Fayre and it is an event not to be missed as well. Alter Ego Events hosts amazing fayres with lots to do and lots to buy. Aside from our books you can also get amazing POP Figurines, swords, home made goods and stuff from StitchCraft.

Unfortunately I won't be there in person but signed copies of all my books will be available! I am ho;ping to have The Culling out by then but I am not making any promises at this point.

The Culling


I am so super excited to let you know that the first draft of The Culling is with my beta readers and so far the feedback has been amazing. I actually shed a few tears with how happy they were with the story, and I can't wait to do the next round of edits so that we can get this baby printed and available for all of you! Remember, you can pick up copies of my books by contacting me via my website or at any event that I participate in.

Anything else? Actually there is! I am working on a new story already called Watcher. It is going to be a collection of six short stories with a twist and again, I am so excited to share these with you. These are going to be more light horror after The Culling because I need to take small step back from the serious darkness that was The Culling.
